The drop of chlorine price in north area is related to government’s attention to environmental protection. Chlorine price in south area keeps stable, while in Fujian province, the price keep high at 2200yuan RMB/ton, because the largest chlorine-caustic soda plant stop production.

 In Elan Website’s opinion, Tianjin chemical plant began to plan reduce titanium chloride price in the end of April and it’s estimated that the price will drop significantly in May. Titanium sponge is in a key position, whose price is pulled by the rise of titanium chloride price and most titanium enterprises have already accepted it. It’s harmful to enterprises of titanium sponge and titanium chloride, so none of them hope titanium chloride price drop.
