Silicon Metal Market Prices Continue Going up

  Recently, overall domestic silicon metal market is running stablely, accompanied by slight rise.

  Today, the mainstream Silicon Metal Price: silicon metal 553 # 12000-12200 yuan / ton, 441 # 12800-12900 yuan / ton, 3303 # 13000-13100 yuan / ton.

  A manufacturer in northeast said that electricity price rose from previous 0.46 yuan / ton to 0.6 yuan / ton because of electricity price adjustment in the region which brought pressure on  production for manufacturers. Silicon metal price also went up with electricity price. Current offer for silicon metal 421 # is 15,000 yuan / ton in the region, but there is no supply.
  Manufacturers in Guizhou Province also said that there is no stock at present. Quotation price for silicon metal 441 #  is 12,800 yuan / ton. According to a manufacturer in Chongqing, is silicon metal 553 # is expected to exceed 12,500 yuan / ton, so the factories are reluctant to sell.
