Silicon-Manganese is weak this week, with few transactions. Manufacturers said that the market is unfavorable for them, and the aftermarket is not so optimistic. Domestic demand is not very active, export market is thin. Silicon-manganese offer is already very low. Current silicon-manganese 6517# mainstream offer is 8200-8400yuan/ton in the north, while 7900-8100yuan/ton, but participants still are not willing to buy goods.

Manganese ore went up slightly this week, but manufacturers still don’t intend to buy because of weak market. Most steel mills are waiting and seeing. It’s expected that silicon manganese price will keep low, and the price is probable to be lower than before.
