According to a ferromolybdenum manufacturer in Henan province, offer for bulk ferromolybdenum is 128000yuan/mt, and only a small steel mill ordered 10tons of cargo. Recently, the manufacturer has purchased some molybdenum concentrate(about 40%) at 1880yuan/mt and there is not spot ferromolybdenum until Friday. It was learned that, some manufacturers don’t give offers and are watching the market at present, because the market demand is gloomy and raw material is difficult to purchase, which made the profit very low.

It was learned that international molybdenum market is stable and weak, and European molybdenum oxide offer is 13.7USD/pound, with few enquiries and transactions.

Domestic steel mills tender prices are low, and ferromolybdenum price are consequently low.
