  According to a ferrochromium manufacturer in Hunan province, they stopped production a week ago, mainly because ferrochromium price continue dropping, coupled with high cost. He also said that the time to back to production hadn’t been decided yet, which depended on the market situation. They are considering to recover production in the end of August or the beginning of September, according to present market situation.

  Some manufacturers in Sichuan province said that although present production situation is normal, they are facing high pressure, because of bad market situation. Recently, transaction situation is unsatisfactory, and most transactions are concluded with old customers. They are not confident for after-market.
